1. What Is the Milk Stand?
The Milk Stand is a drink stand located inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the Star Wars-themed land at Disneyland.
It serves drinks inspired by the Star Wars universe, most famously the Blue Milk (its longtime companion, Green Milk, has recently been swapped out — more on that below).
Since it’s a walk-up stand, you can grab a drink quickly and enjoy it on the go.
2. What Are Blue Milk and Green Milk in the Movies?
2.1 About Blue Milk
In the Star Wars universe, Blue Milk comes from banthas, the shaggy creatures that live on the desert planet Tatooine.
Blue Milk first appeared in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.
It’s the drink Luke Skywalker sips during the meal prepared by his aunt, Beru Lars.
2.2 About Green Milk
Green Milk comes from thala-sirens, the sea creatures of the ocean planet Ahch-To.
In Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi, there’s a memorable scene where Luke milks one and drinks it fresh on the spot.
It’s one of those wonderfully weird moments that could only happen in the Star Wars universe.
3. The Stand Itself: Look and Atmosphere
3.1 A Market-Stall Vibe
The Milk Stand sits near the land’s marketplace area and looks like a street stall from another planet.
It feels like a galactic merchant is selling you Blue Milk, and you can’t help but feel like you’ve wandered into the Star Wars universe.
Even just waiting in line is fun because you’re fully immersed in the world of the films.
3.2 Quick and Easy Grab-and-Go
The Milk Stand is grab-and-go only — unlike Oga’s Cantina, there’s no indoor seating or standing area.
That means the line usually moves pretty quickly even when it’s busy, though you may still hit a wait during peak seasons and popular times of day.
Sip your drink while exploring the land, or find a nearby bench and take your time enjoying it.

4. The Menu (Milk Stand Drinks)

Limited-time seasonal flavors also pop up from time to time, so keep an eye out for those.
Blue Milk
Blue Milk is described as a coconut and rice milk blend with a subtly sweet, fruity flavor.
When I actually tried it, the coconut and rice milk flavors were much milder than I expected.
If you’ve ever had ramune — the Japanese marble soda you’ll spot at ramen shops and Asian grocery stores — that’s the closest comparison: light, easy to drink, and delicious down to the last sip!
It’s served semi-frozen, like crushed ice, so you can sip it almost like a slushie — another fun touch.
Green Milk (Now Replaced by Pink Milk at Disneyland)
Green Milk — a more tropical take on the same coconut and rice milk base — was a Milk Stand staple for years.
As of early 2026, however, Green Milk has been replaced on the current Disneyland menu by a new Pink Milk — a sweet, fruity drink described as a plant-based rice milk blend, while Blue Milk is a plant-based coconut and rice milk blend (as of this writing, Green Milk is still offered — along with Blue and Pink Milk — at the Galaxy’s Edge location at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida).
The lineup can change, so check the Disneyland app for the current menu before you go.
5. So How Does It Actually Taste?
Blue Milk tastes like a frozen ramune slush — and it’s genuinely delicious!
Also, despite the name, these “milks” are plant-based rather than dairy.
That’s good news if dairy doesn’t agree with you — but if you have a dairy allergy or other dietary concerns, be sure to check with a Cast Member before ordering.
I was also surprised at how clean the flavor is — even if you’re not usually a fan of coconut’s distinctive taste, you’ll likely have no trouble enjoying this drink.

At Oga’s Cantina, you can enjoy original cocktails and drinks while R-3X (better known as Rex), the resident droid DJ, spins upbeat tunes.
You can even catch remixed versions of the music that played in the Mos Eisley Cantina in Episode IV.
For movie fans, it’s an absolute must-visit.
6.2 Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo (Restaurant)
At Disneyland, the backstory centers on Chef Hugo Durant’s food truck, where he reimagines galactic ingredients into exotic dishes with an unexpected twist.
The restaurant is set inside a starship hangar, so just being inside is an experience in itself.
