It feels <em>several times<\/em> better than the previous build.<\/p>\n<p><strong><mark class=\"hl-yellow\">Tesla has pushed plenty of FSD updates before, but this one is on a whole different level.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What blew me away most was the smarter lane-change logic.<\/p>\n<p>The car now looks far ahead in traffic, anticipates slow-downs, and slips into the optimal lane well before congestion hits. The car looks farther ahead, slides over early, and skips the pointless weaving.<\/p>\n<p>Before, FSD would hop into any lane that showed the tiniest gap; now it stays put unless a change actually helps the flow.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"styled_h3\">Stop-Sign Recognition Just Got Smarter<\/h3>\n<p><mark class=\"hl-yellow\">The latest update also boosts FSD&#8217;s ability to spot and obey stop signs.<\/mark><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s a big deal for California&#8217;s four-way stops, where there&#8217;s no traffic light\u2014just a STOP sign on every corner.<\/p>\n<p>The rule is simple: whoever reaches the intersection first goes first, and every other driver waits their turn.<\/p>\n<p><strong><mark class=\"hl-yellow\">V12 now reads that rule and figures out which car arrived first\u2014something I used to double-check myself.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Until now, a human had to make that call.
