What is Super Mario Bros.?<\/h3>\n<p>Super Mario Bros. is a video game released by Nintendo in 1985, and not only the game itself but also its cute and unique characters are loved all around the world.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of its release, the game was revolutionary as a side-scrolling action game and had a major influence on video game design that followed.<\/p>\n<p>Many game elements that are now standard\u2014like jumping and hidden items\u2014are said to have been popularized by the Mario series.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a family-friendly game that all ages can enjoy, characterized by its simple and intuitive gameplay!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16868\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ecodriveondemand.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u30a2\u30a4\u30ad\u30e3\u30c3\u30c15-12.png\" alt=\"Super Mario Bros. What is Super Nintendo World?<\/h3>\n<p>Super Nintendo World is an area where you can experience Nintendo&#8217;s video game worlds come to life.<\/p>\n<p>At the entrance to the area, you&#8217;ll find the iconic green Warp Pipe, giving you the sensation of warping into Mario&#8217;s world.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"styled_h3\">3. Where Is It Located in the Park?<\/h3>\n<p><mark class=\"hl-pink\">Super Nintendo World is located at the farthest point from the entrance of Universal Studios Hollywood.<\/mark><\/p>\n<p>Universal Studios Hollywood is actually divided into two areas.<\/p>\n<p>The area near the entrance is called the Upper Lot, and if you go further in and take the long escalators down, you&#8217;ll reach the Lower Lot.<\/p>\n<p>The Mario area is located within the Lower Lot, and it&#8217;s at the very back of that area.<\/p>\n<p>The escalators connecting the Upper Lot and Lower Lot are surprisingly long\u2014if you walk at a leisurely pace, it takes about 10-15 minutes.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"styled_h3\">4. Are Character Names Different in English-Speaking Countries?<\/h3>\n<p><mark class=\"hl-yellow\">While character names like Mario and Luigi sound similar in both Japanese and English pronunciation, making them easy for Japanese speakers to recognize, some characters actually have completely different names.<\/mark><\/p>\n<p>For example, the following three characters have different names:<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Kuppa (\u30af\u30c3\u30d1)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><mark class=\"hl-yellow\">The English name is Bowser.<\/mark> While I couldn&#8217;t confirm the exact origin of the name, apparently when Americans hear this name, it gives the impression of a villainous character and is easy to remember.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Kinopio (\u30ad\u30ce\u30d4\u30aa)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><mark class=\"hl-yellow\">The English name is Toad.<\/mark> This mushroom-like character gets its name from &#8220;toadstool&#8221; (a type of poisonous mushroom).<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">King Teresa (\u30ad\u30f3\u30b0\u30c6\u30ec\u30b5)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><mark class=\"hl-yellow\">The English name is King Boo.<\/mark> Since the character looks like a ghost, it was given the word &#8220;Boo,&#8221; which commonly refers to ghosts in English-speaking countries!<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"styled_h3\">6. Mario Kart: Bowser&#8217;s Challenge (Attraction)<\/h3>\n<p>This is the same attraction as &#8220;Mario Kart: Koopa&#8217;s Challenge&#8221; at Universal Studios Japan!<\/p>\n<p><mark class=\"hl-yellow\">It&#8217;s an attraction where you can experience what it&#8217;s like to actually drive a Mario Kart, and this is currently the only major ride in the Hollywood location!<\/mark><\/p>\n<p>You wear special AR goggles, accept Bowser&#8217;s challenge, and team up with Mario, Luigi, and others to battle against Team Bowser.<\/p>\n<p>The adorable world design and the feeling of actually being inside the game make this such an amazing attraction!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16233\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ecodriveondemand.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/\u30a2\u30a4\u30ad\u30e3\u30c3\u30c128.png\" alt=\"Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge\" width=\"700\" height=\"440\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"styled_h3\">7.
